Well, hi folks! I guess summer's in full swing now. I think June threw me completely off, though. My "normal" routine/schedule--if I could really say I had one--went out the window. At least it sure seemed that way sometimes. I felt like I got behind on everything around the house, on my volunteer work, and on my music. At the same time I was wrestling with feelings of impatience, frustration, and disappointment. But, hey, last month wasn't all bad--don't want you gettin' that idea.
Our garden's been doing really great! Radishes, lettuce, Swiss chard, cilantro, onions, raspberries, tomatoes...Also, I got an awesome bow (from my husband) and a bike (from my parents-in-law) for my birthday! Totally undeserved gifts. And it's been good spending time with my kind and loving in-laws, who came to visit too. So, those are some of the really good things that happened last month.
But, if you want a glimpse into my heart, here's a song that just kinda came together last week as I was processing and reflecting.
